Below are examples of application categories.
We are recruiting applicants in a wide variety of sectors, with special preference for the following fields.
1. Value creation from carbon dioxide
Technology that not only captures carbon dioxide, but also creates new value by converting the captured carbon dioxide into chemicals and materials.

CCS/carbon dioxide capture and storage

Basic materials (methanol, ethanol, ethylene, etc.), synthesis/biofuel

2. Utilization of local unused resources
Technology or business models that convert unused local resources into energy and creates new economic value. Technology that contributes to monetizing the added value of decarbonization.

In addition to the above, we are also recruiting for the following nine areas.
We encourage you to apply even if your startup is not in one of these categories. We are most interested in promising and innovative startups that have a strong potential to develop new businesses with program partners and government organizations.
